Each hat is hand-made by Sarah Lajoie of Portland, Oregon.
Dyed or natural wool roving is carefully layed out over a waterproof pattern, then hot soapy water and plenty of elbow grease is applied. Once the wool becomes fabric, it is sculpted into a unique piece of wearable art which can be worn in many directions.
